Settings for the converter, booster and sonotrode test by the TRZ® Analyzer.
Yes, you can test a horn alone using our test instrument Sonelastic® HZ, which is based on the Impulse Excitation Technique. The result may be slightly different from that provided by TRZ® Analyzer because it is not possible to replicate the stud usual mechanical boundary conditions in the sonotrode alone. If the TRZ® Analyzer is used, it is always necessary to couple the sonotrode to the booster plus converter set as shown in the image, or at least to the converter.
